Astronaut's Uniform
The action takes place on the Day of Soviet Cosmonautics, April 12, one of the last years of the USSR. Outside the window, it is gradually getting warmer, the onset of spring is felt, promising hope for the possibility of changes in the country.
The hero of the film is fond of space. The young man, who idolizes Gagarin, is engaged in reconstruction, making the uniform in which the cosmonaut walked in the prime of his glory. Our hero is also a film enthusiast. He makes films with stories of space flights and shows them to his friends.
The film is stylized as amateur films of the 1980s and was shot on a 16-mm color film made by the company" Svema", made in the Soviet Union. The quality of this film allows the viewer to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the time of the film, which is dedicated to Soviet cosmonautics and Edward D. Wood Jr.

The old lady lives in a retirement home near Bielefeld. It is difficult for her to come to terms with her new home. Nobody really has time. And certainly no time to listen. It would be worth listening to stories from more than 80 years of German-Polish life, in which only violence and unconditional love for their children were reliable figures.
Czeslawa was born in Poland in 1927, she would have had the opportunity to go to high school. Instead, however, her way led to Germany - into forced labor.
The film is shaped by Czeslawa's relentless tales about her extraordinary, yet historically exemplary life. In turn, everyday observations are in the style of the Cinema Verité. The camera observes the family, who, despite great challenges, has maintained a loving attitude and their sense of humor. It is always close, but never judgmental. This was made possible by the filmmaker's close relationship of trust with the family members. She has been friends with Czeslawa's children for more than twenty years.

The Mosquito Philosophy
The Mosquito Philosophy is an interrogation of a society that is caught in the throes of tradition and modernity. The protagonist, a man with a seemingly progressive outlook, discovers the hollowness of his beliefs during an evening’s merry-making at his friend’s home. The film, which unfolds at an almost real-time pace, begins with the middle-aged Suresh announcing his wedding to his (also middle-aged) friends. The announcement comes as a surprise as it does not tally with Suresh’s radical beliefs. Under sustained interrogation by the host (JP), his wife (Sindhu), Pradeep and Ravi, Suresh admits to consenting to the marriage only to please his mother, as in the case of most arranged marriages in India. The friendly banter throws serious questions on love, relationships, consent, individual choice and marriage. Although they are all directed at Suresh, they also bring out the irony of each questioner’s situation too. As Suresh begins to look inward to confront his hypocrisy, the evening’s mood turns grim.
