Beyond the Genocide is a deeply human documentary that traces Rwanda’s journey through its darkest hour and toward its most remarkable rebirth. Told through the eyes of survivors, former perpetrators, and the children of memory, the film unearths the emotional truth of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi — and the extraordinary national decision to choose forgiveness over revenge. Beginning decades before the violence, the film exposes the colonial and political roots of ethnic division, then leads us into the unimaginable horrors of 1994. But what sets Beyond the Genocide apart is what happens after. As the blood dries and the silence settles, we meet a country with no map, no answers, and no reason to hope — until, against all odds, its people begin to rebuild. We witness the raw power of Gacaca courts, of perpetrators asking for forgiveness, of survivors choosing to heal, and of young Rwandans redefining what it means to be part of a nation once shattered. One woman sits beside the man who killed her family — not with hatred, but with resilience. A new generation, born after the genocide, speaks with pride and clarity about unity, responsibility, and the future they are building. Filmed across Rwanda in 4K with intimate access and emotional depth, Beyond the Genocide is not a political film — it is a testament to human dignity. It is a rare and hopeful offering in a world where division often wins. With official support from Ibuka, Aegis Trust, Kigali Genocide Memorial, MINUBUMWE and international institutions such as Goethe-Institut, MTN, and the Israel and German Embassies, this documentary has already begun reshaping conversations on healing and reconciliation. This is not just Rwanda’s story — it is all of ours.

After twenty years of silence, Sophie meets with her mother Eva – a person who was once her father. This intimate encounter in the stuffy apartment of a ruined tenement becomes a confrontation with the past, pain, and questions about abandonment and acceptance. The film, in the convention of poetic auteur cinema, constitutes a technological and artistic experiment – generative AI tools have replaced the physical film camera here, capturing the world and emotions of the protagonists. It is a story about silence that can scream, and about a moment when one unexpected event can change everything, revealing a truth more painful than years of separation.
An evocative documentary about the creative genius Eugen Semitjov (1923-1987) and his fascinating background. Eugen was a celebrity in his time, a successful and innovative comic book artist, reporter, author, and illustrator, specializing in the subject of outer space. The documentary unfolds along two parallel time-lines: the future, where we get to witness a grand space vision created by Eugen, and the past, which begins with his father, Vladimir, struggling to survive as a refugee in a foreign country: Sweden. It is a thought-provoking cinematic tapestry that spans beyond time and space, reflecting the struggles and creativity of two generations against humanity's greatest adventure ever: the conquest of space. In 1923, the Semitjov family arrived in Sweden as refugees from the Soviet Union, without food or money. Father Vladimir, his heavily pregnant wife, their two sons, and his elderly mother came to Stockholm, where the third son, Eugen, was born later that year. Swedish culture would later receive a significant boost from this immigrant family! The father Vladimir Semitjov became an incredibly productive and appreciated short story writer, as well as the most significant Swedish science fiction author of the interwar period. He also helped Mauritz Stiller ignite one of the biggest movie stars of all time: Greta Garbo! The eldest son, Volodja Semitjov, served as a war correspondent during World War II and later became a successful screenwriter. He wrote, among other works, the script for the Swedish feature film that has been watched by the most people globally in history: "One Summer Of Happiness" (1951), the film that coined the term "Swedish sin." The youngest son, Eugen Semitjov, created the science fiction comic strip "Allan Kämpe" in 1942, which remains the most-read Swedish adventure strip internationally. He then transitioned to space reporting and traveled many times around the world. He interviewed astronauts, cosmonauts, and space researchers; he visited rocket bases, research laboratories, and observatories - experiences that resulted in numerous original, imaginative, and visionary newspaper articles, books, and even TV programs. In 1972, Eugen was awarded the prestigious "Stora Journalistpriset" (Great Journalist Prize) in Sweden. Filmmaker Micke Engström has created a multifaceted feature-length documentary about Eugen Semitjov, one of his childhood idols. He previously made a documentary about the horror artist Hans Arnold, another source of inspiration from his childhood ("Hans Arnold - Penselns Häxmästare," 2019). In "Semitjov - Dreams for a Better World" several well-known voices participate, including Stina Ekblad (Fanny and Alexander), Shebly Niavarani (Real Humans), Per Ragnar (Let the Right One In), Tomas Laustiola (Hassel), and Nina Stemme (who has been named the world's best opera singer multiple times).

After attending art schools and college he moves to California and proceeds to chase his dream of designing and building a "supercar" to compete against the European exotics such as Ferrari and Lamborghini. He uses his artistic skills and power of persuasion to entice others to help him build his dream car and to "invest" in his vision of an American built supercar. His journey to chase his dream includes Sultans, celebrities, dictators, drug cartels and influential people from around the globe and around the cultural spectrum. Like a modern day "PT Barnum" Gerald Wiegert manipulates enough "believers" to achieve his goal of building his Vector car company. After appearing on the cover of every car magazine in the world and building roughly 20 cars Wiegert gets kicked out of his own company like Steve Jobs was. In a true life "Tucker" meets "The Wolf of Wall Street" this story of chasing your dreams at any price not only inspires but gives the audience a real perspective on what it takes to succeed and what price some are willing to pay. The many layers of story telling examine not only what it takes to follow your dreams, but also the toll it takes on a dreamer's relationships from business partners to fathers and sons. In a crumbling world where climate crisis, human trafficking, child abduction, and the ruthless greed of urbanization intersect, one forgotten elderly soul during pandemic 2020 becomes a mirror to humanity’s downfall. This surreal, dystopian yet poetic cinematic journey dives deep into themes of displacement, ecological destruction, and the profound loneliness that festers in a society obsessed with artificial connections and material gain. The story follows an elderly person abandoned amidst the neon lights of urban prosperity. Their isolation gradually turns into a haunting symbol of collective loss — showing how, in the name of progress, we are losing everything: rivers, forests, livelihoods, homes, families, identities, and our very dignity. This film serves not just as a cautionary tale, but also as an elegy — a quiet reminder of what we are letting vanish forever. This film blends elements of poetic realism, social commentary, and dystopian allegory to evoke deep reflection.
The end of the world has already arrived, not everyone knows it but it is already here. If it weren’t so, what else could all those news reports broadcast daily on screens and podcasts be? Ironically, the party never seems to stop, even though there is plenty of evidence to confirm that what we are living is an epilogue, the final gasps of this story of humanity. But whenever something ends, it makes room for something new to begin: an artificial, fictional world filled with beautiful, serene images, where no trace of humanity can disturb that calm. The AI technologies and tools used were: HeyGen, Kling, Flux, Runway, Mystic, Google Labs, Krea, Firefly and Premiere Pro.

History repeats itself, yet people fail to heed its lessons every time. Adam, a doctor of science, was living his life normally until a sudden event occurred in the world, causing him to suffer alone with his friend, the monkey. More about the film: “The Monkey” follows Adam, a scientist whose life is upended by a global crisis. Isolated and grappling with his fears, he finds solace in an unlikely companion—a monkey. The film explores themes of anxiety and existential dread during the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting on humanity's struggle to adapt. The core idea of the film is that it exists outside of time, place, timing, and any specific country, in order to better convey the fundamental concept that this event occurs on the planet periodically, because humans do not learn from their mistakes or from the past. In every time period, they create a virus that nearly destroys the world, and they always end up harming themselves, yet they do not learn from the mistakes of the past because no one studies history properly. So a new virus called "Disease X" came to the world again and made the scientist suffer, trying to find the serum for this virus along with his friend, the monkey. He is also trying to find anyone else alive, as he does not want to live alone again in this world.
A geometric shape chases a blob around an underground complex.
How to talk about the future when it seems there is no future? The world exploded and it only remains a voice formulating hypotheses about a future that will be or that already is. What is all this? A prologue to the future? The future itself? A Finnish and paranoid dream? It seems that the future has already arrived and many of our fantasies about the different futuristic imaginaries already inhabit this world along with our humanity. As an example of this: artificial intelligence, a tool that we used to make this short film and that intersects organically with its concept. AI tools used: Stable Diffusion, Kaiber, Pika Labs.

The creator of Pyramidshire designed an articulate media deception that unexpectedly made the small medieval town of San Fele the glocal protagonist for a few hours.
