The premise involves a dance artist’s creative conflict in order to climb the ladder of perfection. The process is not done willingly, but with a pressure inflicted upon oneself to constantly be recognized and valued for one’s art. There is a tendency to become vulnerable day by day to outdo and outgrow from the narratives of artistic qualities, more deliberately. A battle with oneself, carrying the experiences, remembering to consciously focus on progress. The artist hits a saturation from only trying to focus on progress because performance is a moving average and the cycle of efforts not transforming into a part of one’s visible potential. The nuances are discovered through learning and unlearning. There is responsibility of movement, but the objective should be about experiencing joy instead of defining oneself through someone else’s narratives of what defines dance. There is unrest, but this unrest is growth by itself. There is no need to put a time stamp because this moment is unique, it’s a gift to oneself in space and time.
