William is a farmer in the Manx countryside who keeps to himself - until Nancy comes along. A free-spirited traveller, she enchants him into a whirlwind romance. But six months later Nancy is missing. William becomes isolated once more, letting the farm slip into disrepair and visited only by lifelong friend Jane. Nancy's absence causes unspoken tensions, and someone is always watching.
The human mind is a powerful thing in many ways but in others, it's endlessly fragile. It takes only a moment of pure terror to tear a hole in it and break the illusion of what's real and what's not, leaving you with a shadow of a person. When you lose sight of your own memories, you lose the touch with reality and try to find comfort in the only place with a questionable existence, your mind palace. After a severe accident, a patient seeks help from a doctor to explore that very human mind and the palace inside it to find and fix his lost memories.
It's a story of an illiterate labour who takes his illiterate son to work instead of letting him be educated. One day the labour falls sick and goes to a doctor. The doctor advises him to have his blood tested and thereafter consult him. The blood test report comes out that he is suffering from blood cancer. On hearing this, he gets a terrible shock of his life and straightaway goes home instead of going to the doctor. Taking it for granted that he will die soon, he makes arrangements to hear the Bhagawat read out and whimpers in fear of death. In the end he gets his son admitted to a school

Mamadou is a Senegalese young man living in Turin working as a cabu-cabu, a kind of abusive taxi driver used exclusively by the African community. Sometimes Mamadou is forced to accept extra work for dangerous friends. One day, he has to deliver a suspect bag across the city, but is distracted by the sight of Aaida, a beautiful girl of Nigerian origin. Meeting the looks of the two young men will kick off a series of encounters and confrontations with other people who will get on the yellow-gold taxi of Mamadou by delaying the delivery of the bag. When the day is over, Mamadou will lose his beloved taxi and go home on foot with Ernesto, a new friend, and perhaps with a future appointment with Aaida.
