AI-GEN FILM — Official Selections 2025
These films come from a new kind of partnership — one where a creator’s instinct meets the speed, scale, and imagination of machine intelligence.

Here, ideas move faster than hesitation. Worlds form instantly. Characters breathe before they are fully drawn.

This isn’t evolution.
It’s ignition.

Created by creatives. Crafted by destiny. Rooted in instinct.

A ESCRITORA / THE WRITER

The great Brazilian television writer, Janete Clair, takes a few days off to organize the house and is faced with the disorder left by her youngest son, Alfredo.

The story takes place in 1975, when the screenwriter had to rush to write the TV novel "Pecado Capital" to replace "Roque Santeiro", by her husband, also a writer, Dias Gomes, which had been banned by federal censors during the military dictatorship.

Finnish and paranoid dream

How to talk about the future when it seems there is no future? The world exploded and it only remains a voice formulating hypotheses about a future that will be or that already is. What is all this? A prologue to the future? The future itself? A Finnish and paranoid dream? It seems that the future has already arrived and many of our fantasies about the different futuristic imaginaries already inhabit this world along with our humanity. As an example of this: artificial intelligence, a tool that we used to make this short film and that intersects organically with its concept.
AI tools used: Stable Diffusion, Kaiber, Pika Labs.

The epilogues

The end of the world has already arrived, not everyone knows it but it is already here. If it weren’t so, what else could all those news reports broadcast daily on screens and podcasts be? Ironically, the party never seems to stop, even though there is plenty of evidence to confirm that what we are living is an epilogue, the final gasps of this story of humanity. But whenever something ends, it makes room for something new to begin: an artificial, fictional world filled with beautiful, serene images, where no trace of humanity can disturb that calm.

The AI technologies and tools used were: HeyGen, Kling, Flux, Runway, Mystic, Google Labs, Krea, Firefly and Premiere Pro.

The Threshold The Threshold

The Threshold

After twenty years of silence, Sophie meets with her mother Eva – a person who was once her father. This intimate encounter in the stuffy apartment of a ruined tenement becomes a confrontation with the past, pain, and questions about abandonment and acceptance. The film, in the convention of poetic auteur cinema, constitutes a technological and artistic experiment – generative AI tools have replaced the physical film camera here, capturing the world and emotions of the protagonists. It is a story about silence that can scream, and about a moment when one unexpected event can change everything, revealing a truth more painful than years of separation.
